We evaluate completed assessments and recorded intros. Calibration call with your team on what we're seeing.

Shortlist delivered
8–12 finalists in a shared doc with our notes, their work samples, and proposed pair-interview schedule.

Day 8–11
Pair interviews
Your tech lead pairs with our interviewers on technical deep-dives. We never push candidates you wouldn't choose yourself.
Day 12
Reference checks
Two references per finalist, run by us, summarized for you. Red flags surfaced directly.
Day 13
Offers extended
Comp packages aligned with your bands. We handle the offer conversation; you sign the paper.
Day 14
Crew confirmed
Signed offers in hand. Pre-start logistics begin: equipment, accounts, IP agreements.

Day 15–16
Environment & tour
Codebase walkthrough, environment setup, first internal PR shipped by end of day 16.
Day 17–18
Playbook bootcamp
On-call runbooks, decision norms, standup ritual, code review style — taught, then practiced.
Day 19
Production-facing task
Real work from your backlog, paired with one of your seniors. PR opened by EOD.
Day 20–21
Review & merge
PR reviewed by your team and merged. Friday retro on training week.
Onboard & go live.
Day 22–23
Payroll transition
Crew moves from our partner-of-record to your direct payroll. Contracts, benefits, IP assignments active.
Day 24–26
Embed in rituals
Standups, sprint planning, on-call rotation, retros — crew joins all team rituals as full members.
Day 27–29
First sprint
First production sprint kicks off. We're available async but no longer in the room.
Day 30
Handover
Final handover doc, 30/60/90 plan with your hiring lead. We step out. Replacement guarantee active.
